New Castle Recreation Basketball registration begins online October 22, 2019.
Basketball Leagues
December-Mid March $150
- Boys Grades 4-8
- Girls Grades 5-8
Players will attend one evaluation night in November. After the evaluation night, players will then be placed on a team. Practices will begin in December and will be once per week during the week.
When registering, players can request practice nights that work best for their schedule. Games begin in January and will be on Saturdays, mornings or early afternoons.
Evaluation Nights at Bell School Gym
- 4th Grade Boys 5:45-6:45 PM on November 12
- 5th-6th Grade Boys 7:00 - 8:00 PM on November 12 or 13
- 5th-8th Grade Girls 5:45 - 7:00 PM on November 13
- 7th-8th Grade Boys 6:00 - 7:00 PM or 7:00 - 8:00 PM on November 14
Developmental Basketball Programs
Wednesdays January 8 - March 4 $125
Program held at West Orchard Elementary School
Girls Grades 3-4 5:00 - 6:00 PM
Boys Grade 3 6:15 - 7:15 pm
This program will focus on skill building through fun games and scrimmages.
