Now that Governor Cuomo has announced summer camps will open this year, we are in full swing with planning! We will continue to hold to the July 13th opening for our camps. This allows us enough time to make sure that our camps are safe, well-staffed, and ready for campers. We will continue to have a 5-week full session (7/13-8/14), a two-week first session (7/13-7/24), and a three-week second session (7/27-8/14).
A pro-rated refund will automatically be given to anyone who was already signed up for the 6 week program to account for one less week. This will also be the case for those signed up for session 1, as it is now a 2 week session. We also recommend, since session dates have changed, that you review your registration and make sure the most current dates are the dates you would like your child to attend camp. If your registration needs to be changed, please reach out so we can adjust accordingly.
In our previous letter we mentioned that the On the Go camp would merge with Camp Adventure, becoming a traditional day camp program. Prices have been adjusted and we will give refunds (minus CC fees) to those who wish to withdraw their child from the new program, or we will give partial refunds to those who wish to keep their child enrolled in the new program. If you have not done so, we urge you to reach out to us to let us know your preference so we can adjust accordingly.
We plan to open up registration again on Monday, June 8th at 10:00am. We will be honoring early bird pricing for the remainder of registration. It is important to note that we will have a limited number of spaces available in each camp. Please note that all campers from grades 1st-8th should now be registered under Camp Adventure.
Lastly, we are continuing to working on policies and procedures to make sure camp is as safe as possible for campers and staff. We will edit these as necessary to comply with any new regulations that may be provided from the CDC and Department of Health and release them once they are finalized.
We will do our best to keep you updated as we get more information. The health and safety of our campers is always our first priority.
Thank you for your continued patience and wishing you all a happy and healthy day.
