Support for New Castle’s Small Businesses

Our small businesses make our Main Streets vibrant and give our community an identity.  They need our help.  

It is important to provide consolidated, timely, and straightforward information to our Small Business Owners.  Compiled below is a list of this week’s free webinars and Zoom Meetings that will help our Business Owners navigate through this difficult time as well as the Small Business Administration’s new loan opportunities.  Lastly, included is a guide to the federally funded CARES Act.

The programs and initiatives in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act that was just passed by Congress are intended to assist business owners with needs they have right now. When implemented, there will be many new resources available for small businesses, as well as certain non-profits and other employers. During this webinar we will:
• Provide information about the major programs and initiatives that will soon be available from the Small Business Administration (SBA) to address these needs
• Address additional tax provisions that are outside the scope of SBA
• Hear views from the small business leaders across the country

Disaster Relief Loans for Small Business Wednesday, 4/1 at 10AM

This workshop will review two (2) loans available to Small Businesses affected by COVID –19:

The SBA Disaster Relief Loans
The Emergency Loans provided by Community Capital New York.

* What are the interest rates and terms
* How long will it take to get fund
