The Town of New Castle Holocaust & Human Rights Committee are saddened to report that since late Spring three acts of antisemitism have been reported in our schools. Additionally, this summer our country has witnessed deadly shootings due to hate. Most recently, the racially motivated shooting in Jacksonville where a swastika was found on the weapon, and the shooting of a California store owner for hanging a pride flag in her store.
As residents of Chappaqua and members of the Town of New Castle Holocaust & Human Rights Committee we strongly condemn such acts of hate. Our committee invites you to join us for an educational program where together we can stand up, take action and create a community of unity and understanding.
The program is appropriate for ages 10 and up for students and families.
The program is free for all residents but registration is required.
