The Rotary Club has given the Conservation Board 300 trees to plant at the following locations this weekend:
- Gedney Park (Saturday)
- Jean Craighead George Park (Saturday and Sunday)
- Duck Pond (Sunday)
- Individual residents of New Castle (Saturday and Sunday)
Please stop by at the Gedney tent in the parking lot where we will help you with directions and instructing trees and native plants which were planted in past years. You may plant native plants and be able to learn how to plant the red maple trees to assist you in planting red maples at home. Don’t be shy about questions on how to plant the trees!
You will have help from Dennis Corelli, Karen Antin, Karen Bazik, Victoria Alzapiedi and Sue Meany.
