The New York Department of Environmental Conservation’s Hudson River Estuary Program (NYSDEC HREP) defines a Natural Resources Inventory (NRI) as a compilation of a town or region’s naturally occurring resources (e.g., forests, wetlands, streams, aquifers, parks and open spaces). Funded by the NYSDEC HREP grant awarded to New Castle in 2022, the DRAFT NRI is complete and ready for public review and can be found at the hyperlink below. Comments will be included and as appropriate, incorporated into the final NRI document.
Public comments shall be accepted until the close of business on October 14, 2022. Your comments should be submitted to Dennis Corelli, Town Environmental Coordinator.
