NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF THE 2023 TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR REAL PROPERTY TAXES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Chapter 283, Sec. 283.121 subdivision 1 of the Westchester County Administrative Code, the undersigned Assessor of the Town of New Castle has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the year 2023 and that a copy thereof will be available at the Assessor’s Office at 200 S. Greeley Avenue, Chappaqua, New York from June 1, 2023 through June 20, 2023 where it may be seen and examined from 8:45 AM to 4:30 PM; Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 12:00PM; and Wednesday, June 14, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Greeley Avenue, Chappaqua, New York, June 1, 2023, where it may be seen and examined until the
THIRD TUESDAY OF JUNE - JUNE 20, 2023 and that on such day, between the hours of 9:00AM to 11:00AM and from 6:00PM to 8:00PM the Board of Assessment Review will meet at the Assessor’s Office, New Castle Town Hall, 200 S. Greeley Avenue, Chappaqua, New York, 10514, to review any assessment at the instance of an interested party.
Please take further notice that all applications regarding complaints with respect to the assessment roll shall be filed on a form prescribed by the State Board, with the Assessor or the Board of Assessment Review not later than June 20, 2023 and such forms may be obtained from the Assessor’s Office. A publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available on-line at www.tax.ny.gov.
Grievance Day Submission Requirements
Please submit three (3) copies of RP-524 along with supporting documentation to the Board of Assessment Review should you NOT wish to discuss your case with them.
Please submit six (6) copies of RP-524 along with supporting documentation to the Board of Assessment Review should you desire an audience with them on Grievance Day.
Upon submission of RP-524, you will be provided with a questionnaire to be completed and returned prior to June 30, 2023.
The 2023 Uniform Percent of Value (LOA), New York State Equalization Rate, and Residential Assessment Ratio is 14.80%.
