Mission Statement
Our mission is to improve the quality of life for people with special needs by increasing awareness and promoting full inclusion in our community. We aspire to implement programs, services and opportunities in areas such as social, recreational, educational, vocational, transportation, training, housing and care services.
Core Belief
All people and their families have the right to live, love, work, plan and pursue their life aspirations in our community.
This Committee shall report and make recommendations to the Town Board on the concerns of the Town’s residents with disabilities, provide updates on the Americans with Disabilities Act and disseminate information on the Town’s recreational, educational and social programming to all age groups of residents with disabilities.
Primary Goals:
- Social Inclusion in Town activities—recreational and otherwise
- Growing employment opportunities with and within our local businesses
- Spearheading development of the Chappaqua PAC as a hiring site for people with disabilities
Establishment & Term of Office
The Every Person Is Connected (EPIC) committee was established in 2015. The term of office is two years
