Parking - Metered, 2013-2014

New procedures for the metered parking at the train station parking lot
Effective: June 15, 2012
The Town of New Castle has added additional parking after 9:00 am at the Chappaqua Metro North Rail Road Station for pay-by-day resident commuters who have a 2012-2013 Resident "meter" permit. This expanded parking option is available to those cars reflected on the 2012-2013 resident meter permits. The original parking lot (Parking Lot A) still continues to operate as a "Pay By Stall Number". Meaning you tell the machine what stall number your car is in, purchase time, and the system marks that stall as being paid.
After 9:00 am daily, the large annual commuter parking lot (the parking areas to the left when approaching the train station via Woodburn Avenue) (Parking Lot B) is now available for overflow parking when Parking Lot A is full. Simply park anywhere* in Parking Lot B and type your license plate number into pay station, and purchase time to mark your plate as paid. You must display your current metered permit when parking in this lot.
Pricing in both Parking Lots remains the same. See below for instructions.
*Please note that certain marked spots do not allow parking before 9:30 am. If you park in these designated spots before 9:30 am, you will be ticketed.
