Youth Sports Organizations

The following organizations are recognized by the New Castle Recreation and Parks Commission as providers of youth sports programs. Each program meets Gold Medal standards and criteria set by the Commission.

Chappaqua Youth Soccer Club
The Chappaqua Youth Soccer Club is organized for those players who wish to make a commitment to competitive soccer. This program runs from Fall to Spring and places teams in the Westchester Youth Soccer League. Evaluations are held the two weeks after Memorial Day for the following Fall and Spring season. Greeley Youth Lacrosse Association
Greeley Youth Lacrosse Association is a youth lacrosse organization whose mission is to provide girls and boys youth lacrosse programs that inspire participation while protecting the integrity of the game and to provide the New Castle community with the opportunity to participate in the game of lacrosse. We strive to help players develop their skills in a safe and fun environment while placing higher value on sportsmanship and learning, rather than soley on winning. Through positive and effective leadership, we hope to provide every child the opportunity to discover, learn, participate and develop a love and passion for the game of Lacrosse. AYSO Soccer
The organization's mission is to develop and deliver quality youth soccer programs where everyone builds positive character through participation in a fun, family environment, based on the AYSO philosophies: everyone plays, balanced teams, positive coaching, open registration, and good sportsmanship. The core values which guide the American Youth Soccer Organization are: fun for all, education for all, ethics for all, accessible to all. New Castle Youth Basketball Association
The NCYBA provides 5th through 8th grade boys and girls in Town of New Castle with the opportunity to play competitive inter-town basketball. The coaches and volunteers who administer the NCYBA are dedicated to the future development of youth basketball in this area and emphasize skill-building, team-work and sportsmanship. New Castle Baseball & Softball Association
The NCBSA conducts a wide range of programs for boys and girls from Kindergarten through 8th grade who are interested in playing baseball and softball. The philosophy of the NCBSA is to provide a participatory program in which children with all levels of ability can learn and play baseball and softball safely, with as much fun as possible. New Castle Youth Football Association
New Castle Youth Football Association (NCYFA) will provide the opportunity for children to play competitive football. NCYFA goals are to develop the fundamental skills and discipline needed to play football in a safe and positive environment and to instill sportsmanship, teamwork and love of the game. New Castle Field Hockey Association
The New Castle Field Hockey Association (NCFHA) offers high quality structured developmental programs for 3rd/4th graders and 5th/6th graders every fall. Coaching is supervised by Greeley Varsity Field Hockey Head Coach Sukhwinder Singh, and focuses on stick skills, conditioning, game strategy, and scrimmages with programs in other towns. Beginners and experienced players are welcome. The NCFHA is strongly committed to fostering in the children of the community the ideals of teamwork, fair play, good sportsmanship, friendly competition, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority. Youth Sports Coaching Requirements

In order to be cleared to coach for the New Castle Recreation & Parks Department Youth Sports Leagues and affiliated youth athletic programs, you must complete a background check and a National Youth Sports Coaches Association (NYSCA) "Coaching Youth Sports" online clinic.
