Why not choose New Castle Recreation's Day Camp programs?

We offer an affordable day camp with all the fun of a private camp. Our goal is to host a safe, fun and affordable day camp to the residents of New Castle. Our staff are courteous, professional and always looking out for the well being of the campers. We have a wide-ranging camp program that values individuality, promotes self esteem and exposes your child to a variety of skills, games and activities.

The camp program includes: swimming, arts and crafts, sports, exciting field trips, special events, drama, reading, and much more.

*In addition to the "Summer Day Camp Medical Form" a "Summer Camps Program Registration Form" is also required to be completed in order to regsiter for our camp programs.  This form can be picked up at the Recreation Office and is also available outside the office after office hours.  The "Summer Camps Program Regsitration Form" is not available online.

All campers provide their own snack, lunch and beverages*. New Castle Recreation, in cooperation with CSSD, offers camp programs in Chappaqua Schools. All camps are licensed by the Department of Health and adhere to all regulations set by the County and State Health Departments. *Please note lunch will not be served at camp.  Children attending Tots Camp Extended Day, Camp Adventure and·On-the-Go·must bring a non-perishable lunch. Registration must be done by the parent or guardian of the child.

Tots Camp Information:  

  • Camp Dates - June 26 - August 3rd (No camp July 4th)     
  • Camp Location - Roaring Brook Elementary School
  • Camp Times - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm or 2:00 pm for ages 4 & 5 for additional fee

Camp Adventure Information:        

  • Camp Dates - June 25 - August 3rd (No camp July 4th)     
  • Camp Location - Seven Bridges Middle School
  • Camp Times:  8:30 am - 3:00 pm (extended care available for an additional fee until 5:00 pm)

       On the Go Camp Information:

 CAMP STAFF:

  • We are no longer accepting applications for staff positions. 
  • All applicants will be notified at the end of April of their status.    

CIT INFORMATION:

•  All applicants must be entering 9th or 10th grade in the fall of 2012    
•  Interviews will take place in March    
•  Acceptance letters will be mailed in April  
•  Limited to 60 CIT's (combined between Tots Camp and Camp Adventure)
