New Castle's Supervisior is the Chief Elected Official of the Town and is a member of the Town Board. Duties include but are not limited to establishing agendas for Town Board Meetings and presides over them; votes as a member of the Town Board.

Signs all agreements and contracts on behalf of the Town, when authorized to do so by the Town Board.

Chief Fiscal Officer for the Town - responsible for maintaining financial stability of the Town and insuring residents that all funds are accounted for and expended properly.
