The mission of the New Castle Recreation and Parks Commission is to enhance the quality of life in New Castle through sports, leisure and other recreational experiences and to provide a safe environment that emphasizes fun and the joy of personal development through participation and discovery at all ages.

RECREATION NEWS & NOTICES

New Castle 10K Road Race returns for its 26th year!
Sunday, May 19th marks the 26th running of the New Castle 10K Road Race sponsored by New Castle Physical Therapy and Personal Training. This long standing New Castle tradition takes runners through one of the most challenging and scenic courses the area has to offer! The race begins at New Castle Town Hall at 8:10am. Pre-race registration is $20.00 and $25.00 on day of race. To register complete the race registration form, click here, and submit to the Recreation Office in Town Hall with payment. A Kids Fun Run will take place immediately following the start of the 10K. Registration for the Kids Fun Run is free and will be taken the day of the race.

The Recreation & Parks Department is accepting registration for all Day Camp programs. Please visit the "Summer Camps" page by clicking the link on the left side of this page or the "Camp" icon below to access more detailed regsitration and camp information.
